A day after Carlos Zambrano pitched a no-hitter for the Chicago Cubs, Ted Lilly nearly provided an encore. Lilly held the Astros hitless for six innings on Monday before allowing a single to Mark Loretta in the seventh with the Cubs leading 6-0. Lilly faced the minimum through six innings, allowing only a leadoff walk to Lance Berkman in the second, but the left-hander promptly picked him off.
