Cubs' Zambrano scratched with tired arm (AP) - 08-31-2008, 07:13 PM

Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano was scratched from his start Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies to give him some time to rest his tired arm. Zambrano, a 13-game winner this season, is 1-1 over his last five starts and twice failed to get out of the fifth inning. He has seen a drop-off at times in his velocity.
