Yastrzemski released from hospital (AP) - 08-26-2008, 10:10 PM

Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski has been released from a hospital one week after having triple bypass heart surgery. The former left fielder for the Boston Red Sox was discharged on Tuesday, according to team spokesman John Blake. He had surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital after experiencing chest pains.
