Rangers pitcher Kason Gabbard was placed on the 15-day disabled list with left elbow inflammation Saturday, a day after going on 3 1-3 innings in his latest start. It is the second DL stint this season for the lefty, who was 2-3 with a 4.82 ERA with Texas. He was on the 15-day DL in late April and early May because of back stiffness.
