Braves' Jurrjens helps stifle Jays 4-0 (AP) - 06-28-2008, 03:16 AM

Mark Teixeira hit a two-run homer, Jair Jurrjens pitched a career-high eight innings and the Atlanta Braves beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-0 on Friday night. Jurrjens (8-3) allowed just three hits -- all singles -- and didn't allow a runner to reach second base. He turned it over to Mike Gonzalez for the ninth.
